Honeywell was looking to flatten their energy consumption. They were experiencing spikes in energy use, which pushed up their maximum load charge and increased their energy bills.

The best solution was to combine solar power and storage batteries —usually simple to integrate—but as the first-ever integrated renewable energy and storage project in Jiangsu, there were initially obstacles. However, Aden Energies leveraged our unique positioning and resources to get it done.

Aden Energies invested in and installed solar panels and storage batteries at Honeywell’s site, delivering huge energy savings and reductions in emissions. The storage batteries cut down Honeywell’s electricity bills on two levels—by reducing grid use and by storing grid power when it is cheap. This solution, backed by Aden Energies’ O&M ensures the site runs at optimal efficiency for the life of the contract and opens the door to further integration of clean energy options, such as EV charging stations, in the future.
